I am Gerald Leahy, I am the head roaster and founder of Bee Culture Coffee Company.

With the support of my amazing family we started what I hope will be a coffee roastery fostering acceptance, education, change, and community.

I am passionate about coffee, not only of the roasting, brewing, and consuming of this delightful beverage, but also of exploring the rich history, cultures, and peoples that are soo deeply rooted in the coffee industry.

The study of coffee is my passion.

I want to help to change the coffee industry; focusing on making life better for the people in the producing countries, to properly acknowledge them, and to properly compensate them for their hard work, diligence, intelligence, and ingenuity. People deserve to be treated with respect, kindness, and love, no matter where they were born!

I love coffee, and the beautiful stories, cultures and peoples within it.

That is why we started Bee Culture Coffee Company: Our continuing mission, to explore strange new varietals. To seek out new processes, and acknowledge all peoples, to boldly brew what no one has brewed before!
